Umm…. There are many GAs that don’t believe in evolution and will still teach things that go against the best science we have. Just a few months ago one of our apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, Russell M. Nelson, slammed the best scientific theory for how the universe was created that you can watch at (7:12 in the video)

So who are LDS members going to listen to more? Some professor at BYU that has no authority to speak on matters of the church, or a General Authority that speaks for God during General Conference?
